NFL Draft

The Dolphins were reportedly negotiating last week with Michigan OT Jake Long and Ohio State DE Verhnon Gholston to make one of them the #1 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Quite frankly i don't think either of them is the right pick for them but i believe Gholston could possibly fit well in the new 3-4 scheme Miami has installed, as a Defensive end/outside linebacker, just like Demarcus Ware was for Bill Parcells in Dallas. But i think they should pick one of the Two best players in the draft, Glenn Dorsey to anchor the defense or the explosive Darren Mcfadden to be paired with Ronnie Brown in the backfield since after all it is a tandem back league nowadays, the last Two Super Bowl Champions have used two running backs. And they would also have an easier time running the offense because the gameplan would be as simple as run the ball 60 times a game give each of the backs 25 or 30 carries a game. Or they have to decide whether or not they think John Beck is a franchise Quaterback because if they don't, they could get Chad Henne in the second round probably or maybe Joe Flacco or Brian Brohm, or they could use the Number 1 pick to get Matt Ryan the great QB out of Boston College whose been compared to Tom Brady as far as poise, arm strentgh, good accuracy he has it all the whole package, everything. All I know for now is that we don't know what will happen.
