Yesterday's 2 OT victory by The San Antonio Spurs might have already been the knockout punch in the series, considering the team that Wins Game 1 wins the series almost 80% of the time. The real knockout punch however was at the end of the first overtime when Amare Stoudemire fouled out leaving little doubt for me that they would win the game unless they got a stop, which obviously of course didn't happen when Tim Duncan hit his 28th career 3, his 4th career playoff 3 and his first all season.
There were many big shots, the Finley 3 to send it into OT, Barbosa shouldn't have been guarding him as well. obviously the Duncan 3. The Nash 3 running in the corner in the second OT that tied it at 115 and looked to have given the Suns new life. And then the Manu Ginobili banked runner from about 6 feet away with 1.8 left that left the timeout-less Suns in need of a halfcourt heave from Steve Nash that fell short.
Duncan also provided 40 points and 15 rebounds as he was using the hook, going out out 12 feet, getting to the free throw line, everything to will the Spurs to victory.
